What is SmartPark?

The SmartPark™ is an in-vehicle parking meter, designed to take the hassle out of parking... Your own Personal Parking Meter.


It is the size of a pocket calculator and hangs from your rear-vision mirror or rests on your dashboard while you are parked.


You no longer need to walk to a parking meter. Simply set the SmartPark when you leave your car and switch it off when you return.


You only pay for the time you park – no more ‘loading the meter’ and returning early with money still remaining on the meter. Similarly, if you think that you are just going to be a short while, but get held up, you don’t have to worry.


The SmartPark means no more coins, as all your parking credit is stored on your personal "Smart Card”.


Simple to operate, the SmartPark takes the worry out of paying for on-street parking – now that’s SMART.
